Food and Health with bees!

Ecologists certainly know this: beeswax is the main manufacturing material for ecological food packaging. Thus, the beekeeper has the privilege of harvesting it and then using it to make a packaging similar to aluminum foil, but statistically and practically healthier. However, it is necessary to plan for a kit against stings during the harvest. It is possible that the bees inject you with their venom to defend themselves when you are too close to their hive. Thus, provide an Aspivenin anti-venom pump.

Bee wraps

Literally, it is the ecological type of food packaging that is made with beeswax. Some models combine beeswax with sunflower oil and pine resin. This is to soften the packaging so that it can be wrinkled.

The bee wrap packaging has several advantages. It is:

• Reusable

• Washable

• Ecological

• Economical

A bee wrap food packaging can be reused at least 100 times, or for a whole year.

Beeswax packaging is in no way harmful to food. It is favorable to the food safety of those who use it. It is because of its sanitary and ecological virtue that the bee wrap packaging has been able to surpass plastic wrap. The reviews on bee wrap packaging are all positive. Professional chefs and individuals who are used to wrapping food prefer it to plastic wrap.

It should be noted that beeswax does not tolerate too high a temperature. Wrap lukewarm or cooled foods so as not to damage it. Beeswax should not come near the oven and the microwave; in other words, anything that is very hot. On the other hand, it can be put in a refrigerator or even in a freezer without any problem.

Anti-sting kits

Bees are generally harmless insects. However, it may happen that when you get too close to their hive, they become aggressive. It is rather a defense mechanism and a way to protect their colonies. However, to be able to harvest beeswax, getting close to the hive is necessary. To protect yourself from possible bee attacks, equip yourself with protective clothing and especially an anti-sting kit.

A bee sting can be fatal for those who are allergic to it. The proliferation of their venom in the body occurs very quickly. Especially if you are stung by a whole colony of bees. You must then imperatively have the anti-sting kit on hand to save your life.

Anti-sting kits are part of the curative measures. They are to be used in case you get stung. As a preventive measure, equip yourself with a beekeeping jacket, which is a suit resistant to bee stings. There are also gloves dedicated to beekeepers to protect their hands.

Anti-venom pump-Aspivenin Pump

The Aspivenin pump is a first aid kit used to extract or limit the rate of propagation of venom injected into a part of the body. It is easy to use. It does not replace medical intervention. But using an anti-venom pump is one of the first aid gestures to save someone from a fatal venom.

The use of an Aspivenin pump must be done almost immediately after the sting. Too late, it will no longer be able to prevent the spread of the venom. It is a medical kit that many beekeepers use to deal with bee stings.

The anti-venom pump is a class 1 medical device. It is accessible to the general public, and does not require a particular prescription. Buy one before you start harvesting your beeswax. The Aspivenin pump costs around 20 euros. Moreover, it is reusable if needed.

It should be used no later than 3 minutes after the sting. In this time frame, the bee's venom, as is the case for other venomous animals, is still concentrated in a small area of the stung part. Pumping is still possible and easy.

Choose the suction cup that you find best suited to the sting. Attach the suction cup to the pump then pull fully. With a child, you should only pull the piston halfway. Once the suction cup is applied to the sting, press the piston fully. You have nothing to fear about the pain: pumping is painless. An Aspivenin pump is:

• Easy to use

• Fast

• Accessible to all.
